Since humans first started to fight, there have been incidences of biological warfare. Delivery systems for biological weapons have the ability to induce much more damage that ever before. Nowadays we also see a higher risk for biological weapons because the types of people that have the motivation to use them would not hesitate to if it meant a high number of casualties for their target.
